James has over 28 years of experience in the MEP sector of the construction industry, beginning his career as a Quantity Surveyor before progressing into senior commercial leadership roles. In 2019, he founded Walker James Consulting (WJCL), a consultancy providing commercial, planning, and advisory support to clients across the built environment.
As Managing Director, James oversees the company’s operations, growth strategy, and key client relationships, while maintaining a hands-on approach to delivering commercial advice and project support. His extensive industry experience and practical leadership continue to play a key role in the success of both WJCL and its clients.

David, With over 18 years of experience, began his career in Design and Build in Bath before being headhunted to London. Known for his authentic approach, relationship-building skills, and extensive network, he has become a respected figure across the industry.
David has built significant expertise in sales, collaboration, and business development, later founding The Design Thread LDN to connect professionals within the design and property sectors. He also serves as a committee member of the 100 Property Club and Ambassador for Stonewall Housing, while currently leading as Director of Inspiration at RAW Fitout.
